The Nationwide Climate Service reviews that September 2023 is on tempo to be one of many warmest Septembers in Midland’s historical past. That follows the summer season, which was the second hottest in Midland’s historical past.

The NWS confirmed on Monday that the typical temperature this month has been 81.6 levels, which is 4.6 levels above common and second to simply 1977 (82.1 levels) for the warmest September on file.
